چکیده
The present study treated the taxonomic diversity of cereal leaf beetle (Oulema spp.) community subservient to several fields (barley, durum wheat and oats) in Eastern Algeria. From April June, which is appearance period these insects, fauna was weekly sampled using two trapping techniques: entomological net sight hunting method. Spatiotemporal alpha beta this were evaluated by ecological indices: Shannon index, Simpson index equitability. multivariate statistic test (GLM) used assess variation different parameters. Catches totaled 1144 individuals belonging genus Oulema four species: melanopus, cyanella, duftscmidi gallaeciana. highest abundance beetles recorded oats with 569 (49.73%), followed barley (390 individuals, 34.09%) (185 16.17%), whereas most speciose field (4 species), (3 species) (2 species). abundant species O. melanopus 746 (65.20% total). spectrum occurrence ranked constant first, common very accidental species. GLMs demonstrated that spp highly related type.

Activity of entomopathogenic nematodes (Rhabditida) against cereal leaf beetle (Oulema melanopus [L.], Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae) adults under laboratory conditions
In 2009, three Slovenian strains of entomopathogenic nematodes) and commercial product Entonem (active ingredient S. feltiae), were tested under laboratory conditions for their activity against adult cereal leaf beetles (Oulema melanopus). The nematode strains were tested at four different doses (250, 500, 1000, and 2000 infective juveniles/adult) and at three temperatures (15, 20, and 25 oC). ...
متن کاملCereal crop volatile organic compound induction after mechanical injury, beetle herbivory (Oulema spp.), or fungal infection (Fusarium spp.).
Herbivory, mechanical injury or pathogen infestation to vegetative tissues can induce volatile organic compounds (VOCs) production, which can provide defensive functions to injured and uninjured plants. In our studies with 'McNeal' wheat, 'Otana' oat, and 'Harrington' barley, plants that were mechanically injured, attacked by either of two Oulema spp. (melanopus or cyanella) beetles, or infecte...

in current study, 63 samples of bat populations collected from differ regions were used for evaluating the geographic variations. twenty cranial and dental characters for traditional morphometric and landmarks method on the ventral, dorsal skull and mandible for geometry morphometric studies were used. statistical analyses of traditional morphometric and geometry morphometric data indicated low...
Genome Sequences of Pseudomonas spp. Isolated from Cereal Crops
Compared to those of dicot-infecting bacteria, the available genome sequences of bacteria that infect wheat and barley are limited. Herein, we report the draft genome sequences of four pseudomonads originally isolated from these cereals. These genome sequences provide a useful resource for comparative analyses within the genus and for cross-kingdom analyses of plant pathogenesis.
